My Red Sauce.

Guys, this is literally my sauce base for everything Italian. You are going to love it and enjoy it and probably use it for everything lol.

-two packages of cherry tomatoes (preferably organic). Tomatoes cut in half.

-4 to 5 cloves of crushed or finely chopped garlic.

-4 shallots or one large yellow onion thinly sliced.

-olive oil

-salt

-fresh basil

Heat up a medium pan with a considerable amount of olive oil (Iā€™d say 4-5 tablespoons).

-Add shallots/onions and cook until translucent.

-Add garlic and slightly brown it.

-Add tomatoes and a pinch of salt.

Cook down until you can mush the tomatoes with you wooden spoon, then toss in fresh basil. Voila!
